My Art Throughout the Years

I have been painting from a very early age, from around 6 years old. I have developed a good deal throughout my years of painting and have found my style, that being abstract expressionism.

In 2014, when I was 8 years old, I did a watercolour painting of bread on holiday in Somerset, with help from my grandpa.

At around 2019, I started to explore different styles to see what suited me. I tried everything from realism, to cartoons, to abstracts landscapes.

Then I started experimenting with colour and shape, trying to see how colours complemented each other and how shape can affect the whole composition of a painting.

In 2023, I began to work at my grandpa’s studio. I started to learn how to mix my own colours and how to get them to contrast each other well. I started to learn about elements of design and really improved my paintings. I had found my style, abstract expressionism, as I was able to create emotions and interest through the composition and colour of my paintings.
